Colourful sump?

I've just had my subaru sump welded up (leaky dip stick tube) and it needs a like of paint. I wondering whether painting it a bright colour (red/yellow) might be a good thing so that any damage would be obvious. What do people think?

Careful, you don't want to attract rocks.

It's just got a pretty light blue paint job as that's what I had in the cupboard in rattlecans...even goes with my eyes

werl, that lovely blue colour just paid off. haven't even driven the car and on the first start the blue showed up the oil leaks more clearly than they had been before...

Anyway, all tigged up now and ready for another coat of blue.
