Probably but no and no you'll rip the engine mounts off the chassis is you use solids and or urethane. I have always used just standards or Ralliart ones have seen many vr4's and evo 1-3 that have torn the mounts right out of the chassis by using anything else

G'day.
I have been using a Ralliart rear roll stopper and a red urethane front roll stopper with standard top engine and gearbox mount.
The red urethane I machined up myself. The setup has worked a treat so far.
Ahem..my 2 cents
Cheers
Ross

For more than 10 years my VR4 has used its original engine mounts with the holes filled with silastic. No problems.

Best option I believe involves some fabrication, but the end result will be bulletproof.
Just copy what Ford did on the "World Cup" Cross members, basically they fabricated a tubular mounting that used a transit rear leaf spring shackle bush
with a through bolt to mount the engine there is no way the rubber will tear with any load because it is fully contained in a steel tube.
But rubber will give adequate anti vibration protection, the various types of Modern synthetics used do have issues transmitting shock loads.
Seen too many failures of suspension components after people have fitted various brands due to binding etc.
Ford Motor sport #905 3070 for the bush (read expensive transit part with re packagimg)
