Urethane Acrilic hardener

Hi all ... One for you painters.....

Ive got acess to lots of acrethane paint (Dulux / ICI vintage stiff...) in whatever shade of green and blue you want.

and no hardener! ( well, I have some....)

Ive tried 2 pac hardener but it curdled , Probably because 2 pack is enamel (???) based.

Enamel hardener isnt so bad, but it still has a skinning issue. So does any of you guys who spraypaint know a probable supplier of the hardener ( I know the stuff is still made, probably with less lead... But Urethane paint is still gettable....)

Its a repaint the trailer for $30 THING.....

Try Auto West (Regentville Road).
If they don't have it or can't get it, have a chat with Mick King. He has painted a few cars with the stuff.

This is basically Aircraft or in some cases marine paint,Automotive 2 pack is Acrylic with an Isocyanate 2 part clear coat on top it is totally different stuff.
You could try the Australian agents for Aircraft Spruce & Speciality,or visit your Local Airfield for Light Aviation to find a local supplier.

Sounds like the Lusterthane I used on my car.

Paint is by Ameron, so you may be able to find something by them is similar.

988a and 988b are paint and hardener.
9880 is the thinners. Normal thinners will not work.

ANY Dulux Trade or 3D Inspirations paint centre will have it!! It's Acrathane Protective Coating...

I know this because the owner of an Inspirations 3D just told me so!
