evo 3 autronic help

ive just finnished gutting my evo to try and sort out the electrical mess under the dash and i noticed a critical wire not connected (actually i fond heeps but there all fixed now) this is the wire connected to the solenoid on the throttle positioning unit which controls from my calculations the antilag rpm level.

my question is does anyone know which connecter this is supposed to be connected to on the autronic smc?

i have tried ray hall turbo charges without answer but was hopeful someone might know the answer.

thanks in advance

Paul M got a bit of a rap
Hi Mick,

Not sure if this is helpful, you might be able to look at your cal file to see what output it is using. You might also be able to call one of the other Autronic resellers listed on the website also.

Most all Autronic smc's use INJ8 output for the antilag output. I take it you mean the throttle "kicker" solenoid. Call me 0421 422180 any time if you need more help.

In an smc you can only have either antilag o/p = aux o/p or inj8 o/p.

Generally the aux o/p will be used for boost control so you have to use injector 8 o/p

When the antilag is active the inj8 output is pulled to ground. If you have a two wire kicker one goes to 12 volt and one goes to inj8.

If you have a one wire kicker you will need a relay.

Depending upon the vintage of your ecu you will need the 12v to be switched with the ignition.
