We used SBS Ceramic pads on the front for the first time last weekend. We've been running them on the back for a few events now.

To be honest, I expected them to be a bit grabby on the front, but apart from a variable pedal from some other issue, the brakes were great. Good feel, progressive, etc. Everything I could want from a brake pad.

The only thing I don't like about them is that they're very noisy on gentle applications, making transports/quiet zones a hassle.

mad308 has some part of a clue
We have used a few different pads in the Commodore and have settled on metal kings ,we find them to have great pedal feel and no fade in our vehicle ,they bring the car back from very high speeds consistently but in saying that the V8 does a lot of the braking . We get about 4 events out of fronts and 6 from rears . I dont rate the ultamates.
