AV Auto - General and Rally Mechanicals

Hi folks

Thought I'd give Matt a plug. Matt is a BMSC member, a contributor to this forum, and is about to enter the rallying scene in his and my Datto 180B.

Matt is also starting out in business, as a mechanic. (Matt has been a qualified mechanic for 10 years or so.) He has the qualifications, the experience, the equipment, and a workshop. Now he needs YOU - customers!

Services include :

> Routine servicing, lubes etc.
> Brake jobs.
> Auto electrical work.
> Pre-event rally work, including raceworthiness checks.
> Just about anything else...

In particular, the raceworthiness checks are probably a good idea for members of this forum. Tired of doing your pre-event nut and bolt checks? Let Matt do it for you!

Matt doesn't have any alignment facilities yet. He does, however, recommend Chris at Inline Steering and Suspension, Yass Rd, Queanbeyan.

One thing Matt told me about Chris was that he was impressed when he took his road car there. Before Chris began the alignment, he checked the air pressure in the tyres and took the car for a quick drive around to get a "feel" for how things were. Matt said nobody bothers to check air pressure before doing an alignment, so he was quite impressed by how thorough Chris is.
