I've been running the Solartint sponsorship since pre-RoC. Dave has looked after me in tinting all the windows on the 'B, and a great windscreen strip that I couldn't live without now.
The tinting has made the car much nicer to look at, cooler in the summer heat, and less glare in the fading light, without too much reduction in vision at night.
The windscreen strip eliminates the sun in your eyes in the late-afternoon, but is see-through for those crest/dip moments when you want to see through all the windscreen.
I'd recommend getting the windows tinted on your rally car, and I'd thoroughly recommend getting Solartint to do it.

What a crock of Datsun! That dave wasn't helpful at all, he just wanted to check out my rack  and he just grunted when i was asking questions. he's a filthy old man, who the hell would go there???

Just ask for Mad Mal's "I must be Mad" deals on rally glass tinting. I showed up with the glass and a day later it was all dark and tinty. I assume that NOT having it attached to the car made life a little easier/cheaper, be even so...

Couldn't have said it better. I got the rear window done last week before installing it. Mal seems to find it easier, quicker and is happier as a result. What a mystery...
